The Application Support Analyst focuses on diagnosing and resolving application issues, coordinating deployments, and providing responsive support across production and test environments.

This role is accountable for supporting the Director Fraud with the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive fraud strategy and overseeing the day-to-day fraud operations to mitigate and address fraudulent activities across all payment streams at Prairie Payments Joint Venture.

This position will act as the primary contact for Interac and credit unions as part of the fraud management operations function for Prairie Payments Joint Venture. This position will monitor Interac’s Online Administration Service (OAS) and Interac tools to receive and relay suspicious/blocked transaction notifications from Interac to the relevant credit union, using the OAS admin portal. This roles working hours are 11:00AM – 7:00PM MST Monday to Friday, with occasional back up on weekends and holidays.

The Application Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and maintaining PPJV’s next-generation payments applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Working closely with the Senior Director of Application Development and Business Solutions, this role contributes to both modernization initiatives and the ongoing support of existing mission-critical systems that power Canada’s credit union payments infrastructure.
